Thank god everything has been thought of

I am not good with numbers. When people say how many people are in that room I say "I don't know. Maybe 100?" And turns out to be 20. Me and numbers just don't match. So, when it came to buying alcohol for our wedding in 20 DAYS!!!! I was at a loss as to how much. Luckily everything has not only been thought of but it also has a website. Evite we all know but did you know they have a drink calculator? Just plug in your party length - type of drinks and what drinks and BOOM - you got your grocery list. brilliant!

Count Down - 2 months!!!

AHHHHH!!!!!! I have exactly 2 months from today until my wedding!!! Crazy!!!
Just like us - we have added another project to our ever expanding DIY wedding.
Envelope Liners.
Having envelope liners is a totally luxury. It was one of those ideas that I loved but knew that it would be the first to go when the crush of time boar its teeth in us. Well, thanks to a move that caused me to part with my massive library of art and photo magazines and plenty of free time at work - I made it happen!!!

You can too! I found these great stencils at Paper Source for only $10.95. There is a template for just about any size envelope. Awesome! Having the stencils means you can custom any envelope with just about ANYTHING!!! So much fun.
Instead of buying more paper just to cut it up I became a little more earth friendly and recycled pages from my well read magazines. Now every guest will have their very own surprise just for them.
Some of these will be hard to part with. I got a bit addicted to the giggle I got upon opening these envelopes.

Rewind and Re-Mix

Thanks to a head up from Diary of a Vintage Girl in the UK I found out about this amazing sale on vintage style 1940's Re-Mix shoes on Amazon. The sale is great and the shoes are brilliant.
So many awesome styles with big mark downs. The size selection is a bit slim at this point but definitely worth the look if you heart the 1940's. My fav's only have a 10 left and since they are peep toe that might look a bit lame. I think I like these shoes cause they speak to my inner granny chic style.

There is something i love about these crazy granny moon shoes. I would love to see some one rock those. I bet they are crazy comfortable. PS - they also come in a golden bronze. selling point for sure.

These are my fav's. I love the detail with the contrast.

UPDATE: Thanks Hannah for the link to the Re-Mix actual site. For those living in Los Angeles, we are the lucky ones who can actually visit the store in person! I can't wait to try on every style.

Broke Ass Bride as my Paper Doll

I have been working on a fashion post for Broke Ass Bride Dana for quite some time now. It has taken me forever cause I have just not been happy with it. I kept feeling like Dana deserves more and prettier. Well today, thanks to Janie's blog contest cat dress polyvore entry, I decided i wanted to start makin' stuff on polyvore too! Call me lame if you want but sometimes I get so focused on visuals that I miss the words completely. I love polyvore! So pretty and fun and creative but I always just figured these people has tons of time to play on photoshop and search online gathering a bit of literally everything for their polyvore posts. Well, again, thanks to Janie, I found out polyvore has made it almost too easy to lose your life getting addicted to Fashion look collages.
This was my answer to my BAB fashion post.
I present you with Wealthy Wife Dana - a collection of "money is not an issue" items inspired by the successful business vintage modern woman and wife that is Dana.

For those who are working their way up to "money is not an issue" anything, here is the Broke Ass Bride under $50 also inspired by the always stylish and always successful Dana.
