Happy Holiday gift ideas - Bumpit!

I am so freaking OBSESSED with Bumpits! I think it kind of a "have to look at a car crash" kind of obsessed but it is bleeding over to Full unbridled LOVE!!!! Everytime I watch the 2 minute commercial my heart throbs and my pupils dilate. Bump It UP!!!! These things look so lame and faulty and yet I need one. I don't even think it would work with my short hair but I have to have one. I am hoping Potsch picks up on my hints. Yes, I am laughing and poking fun but come on, we all know there is truth in comedy. Who's with me? BUMP IT UP!!!!! The perfect gift for any woman who has ever pretended to be a princess.

on the Bumpit website you can get a great deal for $9.99 and if you scroll down you can find another deal for $9.99 buy one get one free. WHAT A STEAL!!!!

PoP PoP - it is that easy.

I found this in my email the other day from MW. Thank you for sharing this!
In someways I want one and in others I just stare with my mouth open. If entertainment and pure enjoyment are really this easy then why are we working so hard for it all the time? Thank you MW and Mugen Pop Pop.

Burr, it's gettin' chilly

Fall is finally here. Though in California it is pretty much summer year round. But I love love love Fall!!!! I love the fashion of Fall. I love the feel of fall. I love the food of Fall. Everything Fall is my best friend. So I am excited to get to start posting things are a warmer cozy snugglier note.

I live in an apt right now and there is no fire place. Everyone wants a fireplace. That is where all the sexy moments in cable knit sweaters holding hot toddies happen. Now I have seen those fireplaces made by the Amish for sale on television (rather ironic isn't) but I would like more style with my place of heat.

Thank you, Fredrik Hylten-Cavallius, for this beautiful Piet .
"Piet is a chimney free indoor stove with a brass reflector, that burns ethanol fuel instead of wood. This gives no smoke or soot and thereby eliminates the need of a chimney."

I am not sure if my Fireman Brother would approve but it sho' is purrty.

RC-1 rain collector with style

RC-1 seems like a good idea. "Rain Collector holds up to 45 gallons of water — enough to water the garden, wash the car and maybe even a dog or two — all without relying on your local water supply." This one is very pretty and vintage styled but the price seems a bit steep at $550. I bet there are some cool DIY versions out there. Do you know any?

Bike brilliance

This is perfect for a loft or garage or even an apt. Get your bike off the floor and out of the way AND do it in style with the Cycloc! The cycloc comes in some lovely colors and are made from 100% recycled plastic. This little bucket is genius! you just turn it to the angle your top tube (or bar) is at and adhere it to the wall. It even comes with a matching insert panel to hide the fixings. There is a hole to slide your bike lock chain in so your are safe to leave your bike in your apt garage. And the bucket space inside is great to keep your gloves or any small items you need when you need your bike. All and all brilliance.

Reduse, Reuse and Recylce AND get PAID!

I wish I knew about this before when i was cleaning out potsch's stuff for our move in together. He used to have a drawer full of old cell phones and chargers. We had no idea what to do with them so we just passed them off to goodwill. At least, I think, that counts as reuse. But who could not use a few extra bucks back on something we probably already spent more than a few on?
YouRenew makes it easy. And look at all the electronic stuff they want to buy from you! Now, I have yet another reason to get the new iphone 3gs - i can just use the money I get back from selling my old iphone 3g. Brilliant!

Grillin' for the city

I totally fell for the design of this ad. I just thought it was simple and pretty and thus I clicked on it.

I would love to have one of these. Grilling seems so fun. You always see those photos and ad's from the 50's with all the happy fun people grilling. No one ever grills when they are sad. A new school of therapy should be started where you have to grill everyday, every meal. I bet you would be happy all the time. I think the Therapist would also have to be chefs then cause your clients would need a reason to come back to you. What better reason than to give them new recipes?

There is no price that I could find on the website but I bet it is worth it.

I need this. We ALL need this.

I am a sucker in my mind for extreme organization. Now, that being said, if you ever saw my home or work space you would call me either 1. a F-ing Liar or 2. delusional or maybe a combination of both. But none the less I do get butterflies in my stomach when I stumble upon brilliant products such as this - "The ultimate organizer!
The GRID-IT!™ system provides endless configurations for your digital devices and personal effects."

Only $14.99 here.

You can have the olden times now!

How cool is this little stylish camera?

The Blackbird, fly is a twin-lens reflex camera: one lens is used to expose the film, while the other is used like a viewfinder. It’s a famous style of camera whose history stretches back to the 1920s. The Blackbird, fly uses 35mm film. You can get it here.

You can shoot square images on 35mm. So cool! and only $120.
