The world is on hold again

I am starting a new show this monday. I thrilled as I will be working with Liz Meriwether, writer of No Strings Attached, and Zooey Deschanel. Dude! Zooey!!!! I am so thrilled.
But this means my Honeymoon is on hold again. Potsch and I may not get on a plane to romance until May. C'est la Vie. Thank god for these stunning videos that let me live vicariously. and Thank God for Sam at The Sentimental Suitcase. She just moved to Paris. So Lucky.

Marriage Advice

My friend and constant inspiration, Margaret, is getting married this year. Today is also her birthday! Margaret asked her soon to be mother in law for some married life advice and she was given this is response " You must always give more than you get". I fell in love with that notion. It seems so lovely, simple and true.
I found this necklace today and thought it was a lovely visual representation and a nice reminder to live giving more than getting. here.

Today I bring you the power of LOVE for our Tunes on Tuesday.

1st - I found this album cause I LOVE Design*Sponge. 2nd - D*S did an interview with Bri Emery of DESIGN.LOVE.FEST who I am so in LOVE with it hurts. 3rd - Bri talked about the music she is listening to and LOVING while she works. It was this album by Karen Elson which takes me to my next bit of LOVE. 1a Karen is a model who is married to Jack White. They LOVE each other so much that they had 2 children. Jack LOVES Karen so much that he helped and pushed her music career and now she has and album out that I LOVE!!!! Holy crap the power of LOVE is everywhere. I hope you LOVE it too.

I am in love and don't I know it

I have fallen oh so hard for Ms. Tara Lynn. She makes me speechless. Her stunning beauty causes my mouth to drop to the floor.

There is something so powerful about a full figured woman owning her beauty. We women sometimes forget how much strength and power we have. We have fallen for the dainty lady bit. Don't get me wrong, I too will throw on a baby voice when I need something or just don't want to something but there are times that I know that if I wanted to I could be a Rich Lady of Luxury with men falling at my feet. I wouldn't have to change a single physical thing about myself except my attitude. I guess that goes for anyone. It is all in the attitude.

Tara Lynn for H&M's new BiB plus size line. Not available in the US. Boooo! They are going to carry some knock out party dresses in March for a limited time. I may have to send my German Uncle on a little shopping trip for me.





My one bone to pick - If America is known as the fat nation then why do we not have more stylish (not conservative) plus size clothing stores? I can not tell you how many rad clothes my size I have found on sites that are based in United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and even Denmark. Blows my mind. I guess American really just wants our money rather than helping us feel good about ourselves. Smart, confident people can start an up rise. I just want to look cute.

I was chatting with a friend the other night and we were all giggles about the music we loved as budding young ladies of 11. I have been waiting for that time when I can bond with a new friend purely based on the fact that we grew up in the same decade. That time is now!

I feel an Obsession coming on

I bought these shoes from Torrid the other day. Total impulse buy. Not even a style I have been drawn to and yet some how hanging there in the store my heart was grabbed. I zipped them on and have been wearing them ever since. (almost)
They have brought about this cool sexy feeling that I have been needing to feel for quite sometime. I am already a tall drink of water and with these on I am a water tower and I love it!
So now I find myself on the search for more.

How about all of these?
These red ones may have to get bought. I love the mix of texture and rich color. I am drooling on my keyboard.

Cotton Top

I adore my hair short. So easy and stylish. I love it. But there are times when I miss my mass of cotton top. Full of baby powder or dry shampoo. Piled on my head with a couple curvy grips. Sexy and swoopy and vintage. Oh how I miss that look. Seeing this sexy girl really drives that longing home. How adorable and sexy is she?

Oh please pretend no more

These are my pretend kids. They are stunning children that I find online and pretend in my mind that they are mine and that it was my idea to dress them in stunning kid style. As I get closer and closer to starting my own family I seem to fall more and more in love with my pretend kids.

We're Famous!

Last night Potsch and I finally got to gaze upon over mass of wedding photos from Kelty and today we opened up our computers to find we had a gorgeous spread on Steep Street the Blog and a HUGE feature on Green Wedding Shoes!!! I just about died. Thank you ladies sooo much for the amazing words and spreads. You have made some of my dreams come true.

Tunes on Tuesday - The Suzan

I am feeling so overwhelmed by the year ahead of me. 3 wedding - which means 3 bachelorette parties / 3 showers / 9 gifts.These are the weddings of my best friends so I am soooo incredibly excited but it is also a lot of money and that can be a little scary as an artist who's current job is about to end. Also, Potsch and I are trying to finally plan and take our honeymoon. AND we are trying to get pregnant. So much money being spent in my mind already.

So this Tunes on Tuesday is dedicated to an attitude adjustment. I am finding the love and excitement in all things. I am focusing on the abundance of great and letting my heart sing out like pop music.

Heath Ceramics has opened a new store in San Fransisco. Potsch and I were blessed to have been gifted for our wedding some gorgeous absolutely stunning bowls of all sizes from Heath in Los Angeles. If you don't know Heath you are missing out on some family business brilliants.
