Be your own Swan

Mary Helen Bowers was the graceful power house trainer behind Natalie Portman's ballet body. Now you can have your very own Ballet Beautiful body too with out needing any previous dance training. And if you are like me and miss being a kid in dance class this with let you feel like that again. There are two streaming workshops that currently cost $8 each and both run 15 min. Who doesn't have time for that?! Swan Arms and 15 min Ballet Beautiful Body.

What a perfect way to start my day. I am working such long hours these days and have been mourning my loss of yoga/workout time. Well it looks like yet another dream has been answered.

I want to wear winter clothes year round

Especially when they look like this. These gorgeous looks come from the winter look book of Gorman Industries. Stunning. I want them all.

Tunes on Tuesday - this dedication goes out to Cathy

This Tunes on Tuesday is dedicated to my mom, Cathy. She is a force of positivity and happiness. I want her to be dancing in her kitchen the same I way do when I listen to these songs. My mom taught me to always have fun in whatever I am doing. love you, ma.

Pretend kid head to toes

I am in love with this sweet one. I know it's not good to read on the pot but this is too cute. Look at those sweet little toes. How are they not falling in?

Tunes on Tuesday - A different Kind of love

For this Tunes on Tuesday I am honoring a different kind of love. A love for things that hurt us and we should know better but we just can help loving. May we all have strength to survive and the will to thrive.

A ding a dangle

I love delicate gorgeous things and these stunning earrings from Molly M Design are just the thing to pop an outfit. You are just to get the oh's and ah's of the office with these.

I've got baggage

I have been carrying my computer in a back pack lately and it has reminded me how awesome backpacks are. You can carry a fair amount of stuff with out hurting you neck or back and you look cool. Well, I think you would look cool. Unless you are using one of those tiny 90's backpacks. Those are lame.
I have been eying these rad Chapel Bags. Seems I love anything from South Africa.

The smallest feminist

This made me laugh and giggle and then it kinda made me a little sad. Maybe some lessons go a little too far. Exchanging one extreme for another is not better. But this is still stranger and funny.

The code of movies

Moviebarcode is a blog that features full length movies compressed into their colorful bar code. I love this concept. Would make some dull walls and rooms quite mysterious and thrilling.

Dancer in the Dark

Gangs of New York

yowayowa camera woman = natsumi
Lives in Tokyo with two cats.
Photographs mainly levitating self-portraits (and cats not levitating).
yowayowa is a Japanese term meaning "weak" or "feeble."
Since I'm yowayowa, it's really heavy to carry SLR cameras around.

Tunes on Tuesday - Mirrors

I love finding new music and i love when that new music sounds like old music. Ain't nothin' wrong with that. I believe if you are a fan of the 80's and new wave you may just love this too.

Mirrors "Into the Heart"

Mirrors "Look at me"

Mirrors first full length album was just released "Lights and Offering". I am buying mine right now!

Check out my friend Ashley over at HiFi Weddings! Her Tuesday's Tunes are always rad!

Pretend almost kid - Baby Bumpin' version

Melissa and her first baby, Everly

I am not pregnant yet (though trying is quite fun) but that doesn't stop me from tooling around the baby blogs. Dear Baby has to be my favorite. From her cloth diapering thoughts to home birthing ideals to her fantastic adorable and always brilliant baby bump style - She is baby bumpin' fo realz and I like pretending I am her in my mind.

My plan is to copy all her looks when I have a bump of my own. But let's not fool any one I would strap a belt under my boobs and over my belly now if people wouldn't make fun of me.

Check out Dear Baby for great posts and great fashion and one of the coolest hippest family around.
