F*** Yeah, Tattoos!

I love tattoos. I want to cover my body in them sometimes but I have so many ideas I would run out of space in a year and then what? So instead I gather pretty images of them and image them on my body. Fun and painless and cost effective. Thanks to this fantastic website Fuck Yeah, Tattoos! I have inspiration for days.

I might just get this one. seems a little too perfect.

Forever and ever, amen.

I did it y'all. I have tattoo number 8. I have been talking about all the tattoos I would get since the begin of this blog and finally I put my some permanent ink where my skin was.
I grew up in a family consumed with Improvisation and Therapy. It made for a very unique childhood. I am a big talker because of this up bringing. I also know that I can handle and get through ANYTHING this world and universe throws my way because of this up bringing. So it only made sense to get "Yes, And..." in blood red across my major veins. It's in my blood. It is what makes me who I am.
"Accepting an offer is usually accompanied by adding a new offer, often building on the earlier one; this is a process improvisers refer to as "Yes, And..." and is considered the cornerstone of improvisational technique. Every new piece of information added helps the improvisers to refine their characters and progress the action of the scene."

The date is set to mark me forever

I have made an appointment for a new tattoo at Studio City Tattoo with Illya. I am excited. It has been almost 3 years since my last inking. Out of all the intricate images I have played around in my mind of getting permanently inked, this one actually sneaked up on me and jumped to the head of the pack. I am keeping the actual concept quiet until I have it. Then I will post a lovely photo.
But for now think along these lines. Some lovely script that has some flow and some vintage.

Wood you make my heart sing any more?

Audrey Kawaski is an incredibly stunning artist. Potsch, who happens to be quite picky when it comes to drawing and painting, adores her so much that we have 5 prints of Kawasaki's framed in our bedroom.
I was thrilled to find the images of Kawasaki in her studio working on i_seldom_do.

PS- Kawasaki's images are prime for tattooing!

Worthy of being forever

Lotta Nieminen's artwork makes my heart sing and my skin tingle in desire to be tattooed with such loveliness.

child like smile

These prints by Joyce Hesselberth gave me a sweet child-like smile to start my work week. They also reminded me that I have been longing for a new tattoo for sometime now. I have been dreaming of a lovely cat image and can't seem to bring it out of my mind. Joyce's style is definitely touching on my dreamy kitty. If you find any pretty kitty images you love please send them to me. lvkm (at) mac (.) com

Stunning Punk Princess

I found this wedding on Rock'n'Roll Bride and i was in love. How stunning does this couple look? I love that they obviously do things in life the not-so-traditional way and when it comes to their big day they not only honor their everyday style but they do it with total class and taste. I wish I knew the couple so I could hug them and beg them for help with my wedding. I only hope me and P can pull off something so clean and colorful and totally dashing.

Amazing tattoos/art

I used to work on LA ink and I have seen some pretty great tattoo work from those kids. My mind was constantly blown away at the work Kat, Cory, Hannah and Kim would produce. The portraits Kat VonD could ink out in two hours were stunning. But I have to say after a while pin-ups and memorial portraits, no matter how beautiful, start to get a little run of the mill, if you will. I used to wonder "what is the next level in tattooing?" Tattoos used to be so controversial but now even the sweet crafty girl next door has her chest covered in a sewing notions dream scape.
And then i happened upon Amanda Wachob. Currently taking appointments at Dare Devil tattoo in NYC and having had her other art work shown in galleries around New York, Amanda has brought it to the next level. Her abstact and modern tattoos are stunning works of art filled with color and emotion. They are lively and playful and dang it! I want one!!!
