Aught v.1

It's Here! It's Here!... well almost. I know it is finally on it's way. My first ever published artwork. I got two pieces into the brand new and oh so gorgeous zine Aught v.1 published and spearheaded by the always brilliant Kelty of Steep Street. I am so excited and honored to be a part of this. I haven't gotten to hold it in my own hands yet but I know that the mail men around the states are taking great care as they make their way to me with my copy of Aught v.1. Here you go! the long awaited engagement photos! Potsch and I are thrilled beyond the moon at the magic Kelty of Steep Street made with us two goof balls. The colors and scenery. i love it all. Engagement shots were never something I thought I would have. They seemed so old school and not in the cool way. Now, I will beg every couple and family and best friend group to get their photos taken. So much fun and what a great way to remember this time in ones life.









We had such a great time with Kelty and her sister Hanah, that we are having them come to L.A. to shoot our wedding too!!!! So much excitement y'all.

Sneak Peek! K+P engagement shoot!

I have it on good authority that we will be getting a bunch of our Steep Street Portland Engagement photos this week!!!! Yeah!!! Potsch and I have been super patient but are definitely chomping on the bit now. Though Potsch and I are both *lookers we definitely wanted the amazing Kelty to do her magic. From what I have seen so far it is way worth the wait!

I am back from PORTLAND!!!!

Hello my lovely lovies! Oh, how i have missed you. I am back from my amazing trip to Portland and I have many things to share. I am loading my photos now and doing my damnedest to get over my melancholia of being back in LA and not in the stress free gorgeousness of the city of Bridges. Whilst I organize my trip tale I will attempt to hold you over with a few fun posts.

PS- Blogging is becoming more and more a part of me. I am excited about that. Thanks to you all for you love and support. You definitely make it worth it! big kisses!

Heading Out till Tuesday

Potsch and I are finally hittin' the road and heading to Portland Oregon to do our engagement photos with Steep Street's Kelty!!!!

We are super excited and I am of course stressing out. I have never packed so much stuff for any trip let alone a 4 day trip.

Things of Interest in Portland - Saint Cupcake

Yummy Yummy Yummy!! you better believe Potsch and I will indulging in some of these gorgeous delights from Saint Cupcake when we get to Portland!!! The only problem I foresee is dying from trying ALL the cupcakes.
But with flavors like Toasted Coconut Cream, Big Top and Pistachio Buttercream on Vanilla how can I not sample each?

Of course, if I want to pretend that i am taking the healthy road I could always devour the tasty vegan options. Cookies and "Cream", German Chocolate and Carrot - all look amazing.
I have to say I love that more and more places are offering vegan options and it makes me happy. Vegan is really yummy and far from dirt.

If you are not in Portland now and your mouth is watering to try these cups of heaven - do not fret. They can ship cupcakes to you. So you truly can have your cupcake and at it too.

Faux Real!!!

I don't even know where to begin. Kelty at Steep Street has done it again. IT being - blown my F-ING mind all over the place. This time she did it with her sister too.
Hannha, Kelty's twin sis, and Alex just got married and I want everything about it!
Not only did Hannah looks stunning with her fire red hair and fresh flowers tuck in there but she also adorned a stunning green and white dress. That is the best of both worlds right there. Her jewelry was amazing too. Let's face it - she is a knock out! And Alex with all his style and color combo being a perfect fit - genius.



The knock out punch was delivered in the form of a wedding favor. Play list cd as wedding favor is not new but the way H+A do it...give me a break! H+A made an album of covers recorded and arranged by themselves brilliantly titled "Faux Real". H+A did a photoshoot in their wedding attire with Kelty and then had her design album covers. "They described what they wanted as "Elementary School meets Vogue meets Warhol meets Secret Agent meets Soap Opera". Kelty's brilliance goes far beyond just taking a stunning photo. She is a true artist and proves it again with these stunning covers. How gorgeous would these be as framed gig style posters as a wedding shot rather than a stuffy pose?

Things of Interest in Portland - Crown & Crumpet

Crown & Crumpet is actually on the way to Portland (just in San Fransisco) and you bet your bottom dollar that I am going to stop by for a spot of tea and biscuits.
Could you image anything more heavenly? It will be like Alison in Wonderland enjoying a sip inside a cake. I could only be happier if there were no gravity in the place.

Things of Interest in Portland - Little Red Bike Cafe

I just might leave for Portland this second now that I know exactly where I want to eat every meal for the rest of my days.
When I am healthy - LRBC will feed me. When I am looking to feel full, really, really full - LRBC will fill me. And when my sweet tooth just needs to be saturated in warmth and love - LRBC will be wrapping their loving, food makin' arms around me and smothering me.
The Little Red Bike Cafe must be heaven. With things like "Cardamom Peach French Toast—9.50 with vanilla-bean whipped cream, butter, and real maple syrup" and "VLT—8.00
smoked tempeh strips, arugula, tomato, vegan dill aioli, and avocado
on toasted ciabatta, served with arugula salad" and "Chilled Blueberry Soup—6.00
swirled with yogurt and served with a buttermilk biscuit" how could it not?

Potsch and I don't know where we are staying yet but I am going to make sure it is close to LRBC.

They have so many wonderful things at The Meadow. I love finishing salts and I would love to learn more uses for them. I am at the last granules of some hibiscus salt I got at Algabar. It is so yummy sprinkled on this peach salmon pizza I make. sounds maybe a bit odd but it is gooooood. And easy.
