All the Pregnant ladies!

hahahahahaha

Don't Stamp Keep Going!

How totally adorable are these handmade custom stamps by Lili Mandrill. Completely affordable too!!!
Perfect addition to a wedding invite / Save-the-date. Could be an awesome wedding gift too!

Drink up little kitty

I don't care what this wine taste like and if I could find it it would be the only beverage to pass my lips from that day forward. How adorable would these bottles look on wedding tables? I guess that is a random question. You don't know what my wedding tables look like yet. but soon...
Potsch and I would love to include/give a nod to our precious kitzies at our wedding but we have not quite figured out how yet. any ideas?"Teusner Wines are a small boutique winery based in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. 'The Independent' is a brand conceived to sell in independent retailers and on-trade. We devised a packaging solution that features a portrait of a unique character we created. Playing on the 'Puss in Boots' theme, we used a cat head and tail (cats are independent creatures by nature), smug 50's business man (representing the winemaker as salesman), and gum boots (winemakers footwear). A stamp was created to retain Teusner's distinctive oval branding, but express it in a more interesting and independent manner." via here

Gifts for a new baby

A famous lady I work with just had her baby and everyone is chipping in to buy a welcome to the world baby! present. Today I found Storyopolis. Perfection indeed. They have some of the best baskets I have ever seen. I would love to get one of these just for myself. So colorful and fun and educational. New babies have always confused me. I never know what to get cause they don't do much yet. These baskets make it sooooo easy.

Baby dreams - Pretend Baby for sure

How much do you want a baby just so you can do this when it takes naps. New Mom, Adele, takes the adorable shots as her baby, Mila, takes her daily naps. Oh the adventures. I feel a new baby photo trend coming on! Check out her blog.

Home sweet home

Please excuse my lack of blogging lately. I am so exhausted from packing and moving and working that my head just hasn't been right for finding super special items for my lovely blog readers - that's you!
I promise to get back to it very soon.
For now, here are some shots of our new place. We have only moved a few boxes so far. I can't wait to see what we do with the space. I love change (like this)!

This is my favorite part. Our Big Huge Garage. We will be turning this into our crafty heaven. Dark room. Silk Screening. Painting. Everything creative and messy will go here. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Is it cold in here or are those fake?

Now you to can achieve that always frozen look with the help of this. It is a lot cheaper to buy one of these then a set of implants. The next time you need to cut glass go ahead and strap one on.

RIP -Dr. Marc Abrams

photo: Calethia DeConto

Many a Silver Lake moment have I gazed upon the tawny visage of the Silver Lake Walker. No more. So sad. May he walk in heaven.

"Crazy? No. Obsessive compulsive? Sure seems that way, but when we ask Abrams about his relentless stomping of the streets (he’s been doing it since he moved here in the ’80s, though the route’s length and regularity has evolved in the past few years), he says, “It’s not an obsession, it’s a routine.” A routine that includes his epic 20-mile route around the Silver Lake reservoir, up Griffith Park Boulevard, down Sunset Boulevard to Silver Lake Boulevard, and back around again twice — plus 2 miles in his lap pool at home in the S.L. hills, and 4,000 push-ups every day. A routine that includes an extra 15 miles at night on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. A routine that he never breaks no matter what the circumstance or weather. A routine that would probably poop Lance Armstrong....“I do it to stay in shape,” he says. “There’s nothing deeper about it. I just walk for the exercise, for the sun, to see my friends, to catch up, to get my newspapers read.'" from here

I can't take it anymore!!!

Oh man! I am chewing down my nails to their cuticles!
I apologize for the lack of posting this week. First off I want to say a BIG HUGE THANK YOU to all you amazing readers and your love and care about me and my tooth. We are doing splendid again. No more pain and no more meds. YAY!!!! Your good thoughts definitely let me not feel alone. xoxoxo

Now,(I clearly must love to stress) Potsch and I have put in an application on a new place in Echo Park. It would be a huge change for us. It is smaller but it is a little house. Also, the area, though cool, is not the most convenient to all our normal conveniences that we have come to love, ie: Target, Trader Joe's, My new Yoga studio that I am obsessed with. All these things are not terribly far but they are also not and terribly close as they are right now.
But we want a change. I want to be closer to my friends and where I do most of my photography work. And we want a "new life" as we start our married life together.
my stress comes like this: The Lovely landlord is taking her sweet ass time to call me and tell me "Yes!!!" or "no, boo".

Come on Lady!!! I have packing to do. A lot of packing!!
the only thing in life that really gets under my skin is waiting. Ahhh!
ha. Who does a huge move 2.5 months before they wed? Only a moron, right?

Are you kidding me?

I don't understand. If you are having buckets of pain before a root canal and during should you not feel total and complete comfort once it is done? It has been 3 full days since my emergency root canal and when I woke up this morning I felt the slight tingling of pain in my jaw joint and and recently tunneled tooth. I shook it off figuring I was just tired but as this day has progressed so has the pain. I am now back into throbbing migraine creating pain! My dentist is telling to up my prescription of 3 Advil and 1 Tylenol to 3 Advil and 2 Tylenol. I am at a lost. The Advil is doing NOTHING!!!!! I have no Tylenol until I am off work. I am supposed to do a Zombiénce show tonight and pick up my much dreamed about wedding dress tomorrow. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR PAIN!!!!!! Does anyone have any advice on how to knock the shit out of this throbbing death dreaming pain? I need relief in a big bad way!!!

Superbomba straight to my heart

My mind has been racing with inspiration from Superbomba's Flickr photostream. SB has gathered a ton of found photos and loaded them up for all to see. The span time and fashion and relationships. Total brilliance. I am continually shocked at how many make me stop thinking "that's a photo of me/ my family!" just to realize that we all have the same typical photos in our albums. The details may be a slightly different be we are all the same.
If I had a writing group or a little more motivation I would randomly select a photo a day and write the short story that matches it. Pure total inspiration! Thank you Superbomba.
What kind of reading material is that for a child?

Where did those suds come from?

Absurdity at a red light

The driver has no shirt on and that dog is taxidermied.

The Devil must've been beatin' his wife

Last night after yoga I came out to one of the most beautiful just before dark sky's. The colors were amazing and mysterious. The temperature was balmy and there was a slight sprinkling of fat rain drops. As a kid I was told "The devil must be beatin' his wife" when it was raining and hot. A creepy visual for such a stunning reality.

Sit clutch, sit. Good Clutch.

TsuruBride has the most adorable clutches in the most spangly of colors. Just imagine being dressed to the 9's for a night out and then grabbing one of these squirrely bags as you head out the door. What a perfect amount of play to serious ensemble.
And get this, she can make custom designs too. Don't see your favorite animal? Just ask!

Can't wait!!!

There are quite a few movies coming out that I can't wait to but one ticket and spend the day sneaking into. "It's Kind of a Funny Story" will definitely be one of them.

A little mid-day pick me up

Tell your bus driver your on you way to a double dutch affair!

Bon Iver

So beautiful. So mellow. Loading on my iphone now and never taking my headphones off.

"Justin Vernon moved to a remote cabin in the woods of Northwestern Wisconsin at the onset of winter. Tailing from the swirling breakup of his long time band, he escaped to the property and surrounded himself with simple work, quiet, and space. He lived there alone for three months, filling his days with wood splitting and other chores around the land. This special time slowly began feeding a bold, uninhibited new musical focus."

I want this

What lover of design, art, color and balance wouldn't want this?!
Charles and Ray Eames DVD box set $89.

I heart Beklina

Oooohhhh so pretty, Beklina. There are tons of other pretty items to see but these made me giddy. How stunning are those earrings?!

I saw this necklace described as a fancy camp necklace. I think that is why I fell in love with it. It would be an awesome way to bring in some color with a white wedding dress.

HF is Harvey Faircloth

Adore! These perfectly summer looks are just the cat's meow. Definitely something for my margs and kate in these looks. I bet there are items you'll drool after too! Harvey Faircloth.
