Potsch and I just got our tickets tonight to see Emiliana Torrini. I get nervous planning so far in advance but she is worth it and August 19th is not THAT far in advance. She will be playing at the ever so lovely El Rey. I like shows there cause you can make some room and just cut loose if you're feelin' it.
In case you are not familiar or you just want to smile - here is her video for Jungle Drum. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. I want to be in some part of our wedding but not sure where. Anyway, the video is brilliant cause it makes me feel like a kid with a crush - so gitty and innocent. And the end of the video reminds me of Thanksgiving in elementary school.
